By Lord Strafford, Burley had been made Dean of Emly, and Prebend of S. Patrick's, Dublin. But he was driven from Ireland. ... He is a worthy, learned man, & is now suitor to the Lord Lieutenant for license to retain the small income derivable from those dignities formerly conferrred upon him.
