1. William Atkin of Hartland gent, and Thomas Atkin of Hartland gent.

 

2. Abraham Denis of Inwardleigh gent., Thomas Fawkes of Bideford merchant and Charles Velly of Hartland, gent.

 

3. Richard Pearse of Hartland, yeoman

 

Premises: one eighth part of a tenement called West Hescott, two eighth parts of West Hescott for the residue of 1,500 years and one eighth part of West Hescott during the lives of Thomas Atkin and his sisters Blanch, wife of Cornelius Parminter and Rebecca wife of John Clampett

 

Thomas Atkin and Cornelius Parminter were salt boilers but were declared bankrupt, owing their creditors over £200. 2. are assignees appointed by the creditors and the Commissioners in Bankruptcy, have already conveyed to them all Thomas Atkin's right to one quarter of West Hescott which he will inherit from William Atkin his father
