Administrative / biographical background: |
Boldmere High School for Boys originated as the Senior Boys Department of Boldmere Council School which opened in 1938. It became a County Secondary Boys School in 1945 and was renamed in 1957. The Girls School [see S32] merged with this school in 1973 to become Boldmere School. |
