The documents in this list form a large and interesting addition to those previously deposited by Messrs. Hodgkinson and Beevor, with which they are closely connected. They include Hodgkinson and Beevor family papers, and the papers of clients, some taken over from other solicitors. Of particular interest are the County Coroner's papers, and the business papers of the short-lived Newark and Vale of Belvoir Plaster Company.

The documents are arranged by places, and families, both in alphabetical order, followed by the more general items and business papers. Sections of wills and settlements are arranged alphabetically, and in all cases where groups of accounts and vouchers have not been individually listed, they are filed in alphabetical order of creditors.
