Reciting:- (a) 25th Dec., 1775 will of James Birch (of Coventry, esq.) conveying all unspecified property to his son, heir and executor, George, then to James' son James; (b) 14th - 15th June, 1776 deed to lead to a common recovery (in the form of a lease and release) whereby George Birch (of Mortimer St., parish of St. Marylebone Mdx., esq., eldest son, heir at law, and devisee of James Birch of Coventry, deceased) conveys to Samuel Denison (of Featherston Buildings, parish of St. Andrews, Holborn, Mdx., gent.) (i) 2 messuages in Earl St., Coventry (then occupied by Halton Atkins and Widow Jones, with a brewhouse and stable), and (ii) 2 messuages and ruined and untenanted malthouse lying behind (i)(occupied by Ruth Pearson and Thomas Claves), in order that a common recovery be suffered wherein Daniel Fox (of Chancery Lane, Mdx.) be demandant, Denison tenant and Birch vouchee; (c) 309/87. Covering note from Claud M. Payne, Maidenhead [to John Bishton, esq., Kilsall, near Shifnal, Salop.] dated 3rd. Jan., 1790. |
