Letters patent, Peter Osbourne and William Cavendish, esqs, are given a royal pardon for acquiring the Manors of Hardwicke, Kyrkebye in Ashefelde, Kirkebye Woodhouse, Sutton in Ashefelde and Ansley (acreages and details given) without royal license of alienation from Henry Cavendish and his wife by fine the Easter term [1578].
