Copy will of John Walmsley of Creamore, parish of Wem, gent. of date above. All his houses, farms and lands in the parish of Wem and elsewhere to his brother-in-law John Mulliner and his son George and their heirs on trusts:- To use of brother-in-law and son George for 1,000 years on trust with rents and profits or by mortgage of all or part raise £3,200 which is to include the principal money his late wife's jointure and pay the same to his 5 youngest children, Thomas, Mary, Samuel, George and Ann. To Thomas £500, to Mary £700, to Samuel £600, to George £700, to Ann £700, subject to payment of the testator's debts in case of a deficiency in his personal estate, to the use of the testator's son Jn Walmsley and his heirs forever. To all his younger children a bed, bolster, coverlet and a pair of blankets All his linen to all his children divided between them. Residue to son John Executors: sons Jn, Thos and Sam. Probate certificate by Bishop of Lichfield & Coventry at Shrewsbury 21 October 1825, to Jn & Sam Walmsley. Sworn under £1500 - £30 |
