Copy of Royal Warrant under the Privy Seal for issue of Letters Patent under the Duchy of Lancaster seal: granting to Robert Boath, esq. and Thomas Coke, gent. for £5400.0.7½.:-- Shuthull and Posterne Parks (late leased to George, Earl of Shrewsbury dec'd. at £86 rent). Champion land and messuage called le Champaigne in le High Peake with herbage (late leased to George, Earl of Shrewsbury at £41.6.8 rent). Assart land called the Whitfeild and the Tonge (in all 30ac.) and Hardman's Close in Offecote near Ashbourne (late leased to John Kniveton at 34s. 2½d. rent). Messuage and lands in the High Peake called Windelandes (late leased to J.K. at £20. 18. 4 rent). Messuage and land called Sheffe or Comes (late leased to George, Earl of Shrewsbury at £4. 7.8 rent). All advowsons pertaining to the premises excepted--: To be held by free and common socage of the Honour of Tutbury. R.B. and T.C. rendering the above rents yearly.
