Catalogue description Barnby Dun: photographs of the building of the Bascule Bridge 1982 and local personalities 1984-1992

The colour photographs catalogued here were taken by Mr Neil G Clark of 11 Stainforth Road, Barnby Dun, who died in January 2001, aged 87. All photographs are four by six inches in size. Records comprise colour photograph album containing: 61 photographs of the building of the Bascule Bridge at Barnby Dun and of those engaged in the work, July to August 1982, prefaced by a three-page typescipt by Mr Clark describing the building of the bridge; 2 photographs of Kirk Bramwith Bridge; 1 photograph of Barnby Dun Church; 12 photographs of local personalities and the Stainforth and District Male Voice Choir 1985; 2 photographs of Barnby Dun Raft Race 1986; 1 photograph of Barnby Dun Old Vicarage (c1992).
