Lieutenant Percival Edwin Owen Booth 14 Middlesex Regt attd 93 Company MGCBorn on 8/4/92 in Cricklewood, Middlesex and possibly educated at the University ofLondon. Son of Walter Scott Booth of 'The Rowans', Hazelmere Rd., Winchmore Hill. Wentto France with MGC. His father died in 1923 and his mother on 14/7/32. Enlisted in Londonon 17/11/14 as No R/7272 KRRC, occupation Bank Clerk, height 5' 6", weight 120 lbs,physical development good. Complexion fresh, eyes blue, hair light. Address as enlistment asabove. Discharged to commission 10/3/15. His casualty form for the MGC as 2nd Lieutenantstates that he embarked Southampton 16/5/16 for Le Havre. His commission application,dated 1/2/15, states that he was unmarried, address as above, address for correspondence 7Company 6th KRRC at Queenborough. Buried in New Cemetery just east of Colincamps.Brother of Horatio Scott Booth. Returned to his parents were cheque books, photos, letters, aNew Testament, a book of postage stamps.
