(i) Clement Denston, clerk, William Rokewode of Whelnetham, Robert Berdewell and Ralph Blanderhasset to (ii) Humphrey, Duke of Buckingham, John, Earl of Worcester, Edmund Grey, Lord de Ryffyn [Ruthin], Edmund Englesthorp, kt., Edmund Mulsowe, kt., Drugo Barentyn, esq., Thomas Ryngstede, clerk, Thomas Heygham, esq., John Denston, esq., John Paston, esq., John Asteley, esq., Richard Skederton, esq., Thomas Trenchemer, esq., Thomas Stotevyle, esq., and William Geddyng, son of Thomas Geddyng, esq.

 

Grant of the manors of Lackford and Flempton, which (i) lately held with Robert Cavendish, Wm. Galyon, Henry Drwry and Hugh Bokenham, now deceased, and with Thomas Geddyng and Thomas Heycham (who by separate writings have released their right to (i)) of the grant of Thomas Westhorp, clerk, as appears by a certain fine levied at Westminster on the octave of St. John the Baptist 1434 between Thos. Westhorp, quer. and Thomas Geddyng, Robert Cavendish, William Galyon - Denston, clerk, Henry Drwry, Wm. Rokewode of Whelnetham, Robert Berdewell, Ralph Blanderhasset, Hugh Bokeham and Thomas Heygham, def.

 

To hold to (ii) and their heirs, of the chief lords.
