Administrative / biographical background:

Jane Weir spent the majority of her life in Liverpool and became an active member of the Liverpool Writers' Club in 1973. Local history and foreign holidays often inspired her writing, some of which were published in the writers' journal, 'The Liverpool Echo', or broadcast on Radio Merseyside.
