CR 1908/6/1 Assignment of lease from Richard Burton of Coulton, Staffs. gent. to Thomas Launder of Rugeley, gent., of grounds called the Two Mosseleyes with the meadow thereto, and 11 acres of meadowing in Ashley Meadow in Rugeley, 20th Dec. 1669.

 

CR 1908/6/2 Indenture of fine (top missing) between Henry Gorrenge, and Robert Somner, quercuts, and Thomas Launder and Anne his wife, Richard Bath and Margaret his wife, Richard Launder and Elizabeth his wife and Robert Browne and Katherine his wife of 4 messuages and lands in Blithbury, Mavesyn Ridware and Rugeley, Date missing, ? 17th cent.

 

CR 1908/6/3 Manor of Cannock and Rugeley: view of frankpledge and court baron of the Earl of Uxbridge, 27th October 1730: surrender by Robert Landor (son of Robert Landor gent, deceased) and Elizabeth Landor, widow, his mother, to Richard Morris, and recital of recovery which then followed respecting 1 messuage, 3 cottages formerly 2, and all their appurtenances, late of - Addams, 3 acres called Brundhill, 1 croft of 3 acres at the end of the Town of Rugeley and land on the Lord's waste, with part of a house thereon built late Olivers (?) and lands late Ford's, lands in Church Field and Up Field, close called Bryans Lake, land called Le Flaxyard, a barn, meadow in Ashley Meadow and three parcels of meadow called Doles in Broad Meadow, lands in Church Field, Up Field and Upfield Piece. CR 1908/6/4 Manor of Longdon: Court Baron of Lord Uxbridge 21 March 1715/6: admission by copy of court roll of Robert Lander gent. and Elizabeth Landor widow (his mother) to 1 acre in the close called le Upper Grimes. See also nos. CR 1908/20/19-20 and no. CR 1908/22

 

CR 1908/6/5 Feoffment from Thomas Wollasson of Longdon, tailor, to Thomas Potter of Longdon, yeoman, of a cottage and Churche Crofte, 10 Oct. 1579.

 

CR 1908/6/6 Exemplification of a recovery by double voucher in which Thomas Chetwynd esq. and Simon Smythe gent. were demandants, Edward James and William Launder tenants, and Andrew Baddeley and Susan his wife and Richard Walker alias Hollington and Mary his wife vouchees, of 2 messuages, 1 toft, 2 gardens and lands in Longdon and Kings Bromlay, 30th Oct. 2 Chas I (1626).

 

CR 1908/6/7 Feoffment from Thomas Smith the younger of Preston-on-Stour yeoman to Thomas Smith the elder (similarly described) of messuages and lands in Preston-on-Stour heretofore bought by Henry Smith (grandfather to both Thomas Smiths) from Ralph Sheldon esq. and Thomas Tayler, 18 June 1651.

 

CR 1908/6/8-9 Receipt for £220 paid by James Lander of Stone, apothecary, to Thomas Witherings of Blyth gent., an executor of Robert Lander of Hardwick gent. deceased, in connection with a lease of a messuage in Sareley alias Seidley, and in Stallington and Fullford, Staffs., 24th June 1683, with bond of even dating.
