At Flempton

 

(i) Thomas Angold of Flempton to (ii) Nicholas Moos of Hengrave, Sir Walter Trumpyngton, kt., Edmund Geddyng, esq., and John Lucas of West Stow.

 

Chirograph

 

Mortgage for £12 of all lands and tenements of (i) in Flempton.

 

To hold to (ii) and their heirs, for twelve years from the feast of the Annunciation of the B. V. M., next to come.

 

(i) paying twenty shillings annually in equal portions at the two terms starting at the Michaelmas before the date of the present indenture, with distraint on non-payment.

 

(i) and John Angold of Flempton, his son and heir, bind themselves in forty shillings, to (ii), for fulfilment of the present indenture, the said Nicholas giving to them six shillings and eightpence at the end of the said term.

 

Witnesses: John Peyton; John Bret; Thomas Peyton; John Hemesby; Geoffrey Donewych.
