By (a) the Reverend Peter Guerin Crofts of Lewes, clerk, to (b) Elizabeth Frederica Law, spinster, daughter of Ewan Law of Horsted Place, Little Horsted, esq Freehold and copyhold estates in the counties of Sussex, Middlesex, Lincoln, and Essex devised to (a) by the will of his uncle, John Crofts of Sompting Abbots, esq., decd., dated 25 January 1810 By this deed, made on the intended marriage between (a) and (b), (a) appoints the annual rent charge of £300, charged upon the said property, unto (b), from the time of his death for the term of her life, as her jointure |
