Thomas Jeffery, senior, baker, married, Elizabeth Giddy, both of Charles parish, bachelor and spinster, by banns 14 April 1814 at Charles Church, Plymouth Their son Thomas Hellier Jeffery was baptised at Charles Church 12 December 1817. At that time his parents were living at Govet's Lane, Plymouth. Thomas Buckland Jeffery was born 5 February 1845 at 9 a.m. at 3 Mill Pleasant, Stoke Damerel, son of Thomas Hellier Jeffery, letter carrier, and wife Elizabeth.

 

Thomas Hellyer Jeffery died 3 May 1877, age 59 and Elizabeth Jeffery died 29 June 1894 age -. They were both buried at Treville Street Unitarian Graveyard, Plymouth and their tombstone was later removed to Efford Cemetery

 

The 1841 census return for 6 North Street, Plymouth records Elizabeth Jeffery, age 60 (not born in Devon), and William Jeffery, age 20 (born in Devon).
