Description:

1-2 A covenant to levy a fine between Isaac Gamble of Monks Kirby, yeoman and Ann his wife and John Royle of Coventry, shop keeper, and William Jaggard of Leek Wootton gent., of a messuage heretofore in the tenure of Richard Devenport and now of the gambles in Monks Kirty, with its hereditaments, 1807. This deed contains a copy fine of Easter Term 1810 in which William Jaggard was plaintiff and Joseph Burdett and Elizabeth his wife, Edward Dyer and Phyllis his wife, John Burdett and Mary his wife, Thomas Rainbow and Ann his wife, William Boddington and Elizabeth his wife, Edward Sheffield Crofts and Isabella his wife and Isaac Gamble and Ann his wife were deforciants, of 3 messuages, a windmill, gardens, etc. and lands in Kenilworth, Wolston, Brinklow and Monks Kirby.

 

3-4 Mortgage to secure £100 from Isaac Gamble to Joseph Montgomery of Ledgers Ashby Northants., gent., of the above described messuage in Monks Kirby now with a barn, 3 stables and an adjoining messuage., 1833, with Gamble's promissory note by which he promised to pay £100 in 6 months.

 

5-7 A deed for the direction and appointment of new uses by lease and release from Gamble and Montgomery to the 7th Earl of Denbigh of the above premises, 1835. With a covenant by which the property was in 1833 charged with a further sum of £60 and a Fire Insurance Company receipt, 1835
