Description:

Messuages, lands etc. (not described) in Hemsby and Potter Heigham of which mortgage of 1703 by Edward Harkar gent. was assigned by John Spendlove gent. to use of John Church in 1707.

 

2½a. part of messuage and 3a. in Hemsby near Oses Meer, 1a. arable in West Somerton near Fox Hills, and ½a. in Hemsby in furlong called Waters Meer, mortgaged by Robert Crome to Mary Harmar widow in 1715 and in 1718 assigned by William Jex and said Mary now his wife to Thomas Lovick, 1715.

 

Settlement following the death of Thomas Tilney of messuage and lands in Hemsby and 3a. in field of West Somerton on Isabella Tilney widow and messuage called Aldercarp Farm with lands etc. in Bunwell and Carleton Rode on William Rising, 1749.

 

Five pieces of land containing 7a. 3r. in Hemsby in Hogs Throw Furlong, Bretts Furlong and Dayly Meadow, purchased by Thomas Thornton from Thomas Artis in 1764 and in 1779 conveyed by Thornton's son Thomas to Tilney Rising with three other pieces called Clay Pitt Land, Sea Side Piece and Market Road Piece.
