Manors of Amesbury Earls and Amesbury Priory; four paper volumes being surveys in the form of leaseholders' and freeholders' deed books, of the reigns of Eliz.I, Jas.I, and Chas.I, with later additions and observations ending c.1684; part of two volumes of draft court records, including views of frankpledge, 1566-69, 1583-86; misc. file entitled "Billet lands cum aliis", 1595 etc.; file of views of frankpledge with court baron, 1676-78, 1680, bound in deed relating to Salisbury, 1650; ?contemporary copy of the customs of the manor 1635; view of frankpledge with manor court of Amesbury Earls and Amesbury Priory, 1576; two 18th cent. copies of the perambulation of the manors made in 1639; 18th cent. copy of "The Manners & customs of the Manors of Amesbury Earles and Amesbury Priory 1639". Bounds as at 1639 and customs as at 1635, with additions made for the Duke of Queensbury; boundaries of the manors with the customs and common lands [18th cent.]; survey of the manor [18th cent.], "Examin'd the 21st July 1741" with index of the tenants; volume called "Amesbury Survey"; includes schedule of the copyholders and leaseholders of the manors of Amesbury Earls and Amesbury Priory and their lands, rents etc., and at back "A Particular Terrier of every parcel in the Common Fields of Amesbury wherein all the Exchanges that has been made to this time are Explained 1742".
