Administrative / biographical background:

This enterprise, which managed the Albion Street Foundry in Leigh, became a limited liability company by the name of Harrison, McGregor and Company Limited in 1891, the name Guest being added in 1947.

 

The foundry was absorbed in 1955 by David Brown Tractors Limited.
