Official fuhrer-buch issued to Bohren in 1856, containing testamonials from climbers who had engaged him as a guide. The first pages between 1850 and 1856 are from an ordinary notebook that Bohren used before he received the official book. Bohren died in August 1882: some pages from a Zurich newspaper containing his obituary were pasted into the fuhrer-buch and are reproduced here. [July 1850] July 1856 - June 1882.
