Description: oral history interviews from the project 'Staying Power: Photographs of Black British Experience 1950s-1990s', and recordings made at the related event 'Staying Power: Decks, Dance and Dialogue 1950-2000' at the V&A Museum in April 2014.

The V&A worked with the Black Cultural Archives on the HLF-funded 'Staying Power' project, which aimed to increase the number of black British photographers and images of black Britain in the V&A collection. The Black Cultural Archives collected related oral histories.
