Reiterate their inability to continue the late James's contract to supply teams to the Chatham Yard and ask to be relieved of the arrears of pay to the drivers in order to raise money to pay the annual rent of £200 on his land, so as to harvest the fodder and graze the horses. Without fodder or grazing the cattle would perish or have to be sold. |
