Nature of request: The prior requests remedy as he and his fellow two monks only had as temporalities the church of Ellingham worth 25 marks per annum, and had no other temporalities or spiritualities, but the ministers of the king of the Exchequer came and seized the church into the king's hand and take annually 20 marks so that the prior, monks and house have nothing to sustain them.
