Petitioners: Bertram (Bertran) Dassaily (d'Assailly, d'Assaillit).

Nature of request: Bertram Dassaily makes three requests:1) He states that he holds and has held the keeping of the castle of Penne-d'Agenais, and that part of his wages are due to him. He asks that the Treasurer of the Agenais might be ordered to audit his account and to pay him what is due to him. And he asks that in payment he might have the bailiwick of Villeneuve for the fee that others have been prepared to give for it.2) He requests the peage (toll) of Labouheyre, as a reward for his service during the war between the king's father and the King of France.3) He asks that the Treasurer of the Agenais might be ordered to survey the castle of Penne-d'Agenais, and to correct any faults he might find there, for the king's profit and honour; and that the costs of this might be allowed to him in his account.
