Nature of request: Loup Burgoyn de Burdeux states that he has letters of the king's grandfather for £143 6 s. 8 d. sterling and for £401 17 s. of good coin of Bigorre, and requests letters to the present Constable of Bordeaux, or to the person who will be Constable for the time being, to give him payment for this sum or assignment in a specified place where he can have satisfaction.
Nature of endorsement: Because Loup has remitted £40 sterling of the sum mentioned here to the king, it is agreed that he should be paid the remainder etc., and that the Constable etc. is to be ordered to examine the letters and, if it is so, to give him payment in the aforesaid form.Done.
