The Sheriffs replied to a previous writ that John was not found in the bailiwick but he had on the day of the recognisance and afterwards a tenement in the parish of St Andrew, Holborn, in the suburb of London in the ward of Farringdon Without, worth 26s 8d a year, and goods and chattels including lead troughs, a cistern, vats, 22 saucepans, 22 barrels, a tin, funnel, a scoop, colander, a yeast bowl, a plate of iron, 8 pairs of bed-boards, 4 chests, a chair, 2 baskets, ale-tongs, 3 pairs of grindstones, 2 water vats .... a lime-tub... a bucket with a chain and a winch worth £7 7s 1d.
