[?Based on part of Admiralty chart 2224]; [by] George Giles, Master, HMS Arrogant. A letter from B J Sullivan, Board of Trade, to [?Captain John] Washington, [Hydrographer, Royal Navy], 16 February 1863, describing the map as '... quite useless, being wrong in every respect ...', is affixed to the edge of the map. |
