Nature of request: The dean and canons of the free chapel of St Stephen in Westminster palace request that whereas they demised to Burley the manor of Eastling with its goods and chattels at a certain yearly rent, which manor with its goods and with timber found in the manor of Elham, from which Burley had unjustly ejected them, were seized into the King's hand by the judgment against Burley, that they may have all the stock, goods and chattels pertaining to the same, since they are rightly theirs.
