Note: | The petition dates to 1346 as the bishop was called to discuss the matter of the liberties of Lynn in a council decision of that year (C 49/7/21). The second part of the petition appears to be resolved by a grant in the patent rolls of 16 May 1350, where as the first matter seems to have been a more prolonged matter (CPR 1348-50, p.551; CPR 1350-4, p.100). | ||||||||||||||||
