Kent. Three plans on a single sheet of towers 16, 17 and 20 at Hythe Bay showing boundaries and high water marks. Reference tables and notes. Scales: 1 inch to 80 feet. Compass indicators. Initialled 'W.B.T' and signed by Captain Alexander Gordon, Royal Engineers, Hythe, 13 July 1848. Originally accompanying a return of land property dated 31 August 1848 by Lieutenant Colonel William Burton Tylden, Royal Engineers, Dover to the Inspector General of Fortifications.
