Description:

Captured ship: L'Acacia otherwise Lacassiat of Calais (master Antoine Portier).

History: a French privateer (5 tons, 1 gun, 20 men), taken on 15/26 November 1745 two leagues west of Dungeness by the privateer Carlisle (William Owen commanding) and brought into Dover.
