Petitioners: John de Wymundeham and Christina de Wymundeham his wife.

Nature of request: John de Wymundeham and Christina his wife state that they sued a writ of right for eight years and more concerning a tenement in Westmorland, and the justices of the Bench in London sent their writ to the justices in Eyre in Westmorland, but kept the record and process; and while they were suing to to have this record and process their adversaries went quit without a day, and so they have lost their suit. They ask that they might be able to sue a writ of right in the county of Northumberland because the court of Brough under Stainmore is in the King's hand because of the wardship of the heir of Lady Clifford.
