Description:

Uganda. Sketch map of the road taken by Major Rehm from the shore of Lake Victoria inland (westwards) to Mulema, Ankole district; also showing contours, forests, camps, and the boundary with German East Africa (territory now in Tanzania). Scale: 1 inch to 3 miles. Compass indicator. Dated 2 March 1903. Originally illustrating a road report by Sergeant Major A Rehm, 4th Battalion, King's African Rifles; this report is Appendix G to Uganda Protectorate Intelligence Report number 19.
