Thomas Corbett. Captain O'Hara has complained that when he sent men to the Russell tender for Thomas Brown a pressed man, he was not there, having escaped as the crew of the tender had gone ashore. Thomas Sporne, the Master of the Russell, said he was ashore on business at the time but the tender was fully manned. He thought his mate, Thomas Penrice, was responsible. The Regulating Captains should be ordered to impress Penrice to serve in a Naval vessel |
