Nature of request: 1) The merchants request that it be ordained how they are able to have delivery of their gold coins taken by the seneschal of Saintonge and Angouleme.2) Guillaum requests that he be quit of the wine custom for ten or twelve years, and that he have a writ for the acquittance from the date of the patent, he having a previous grant at the king's will.1)
Nature of endorsement: Concerning the first let it be written to the seneschal that he . . . restore . . ., and if he does not wish to that he . . .2) Concerning the second, he should have it for three years on condition that he restore the letters that he has of the will of the king, and let it be done after the date of the first grant.
