William de Warenne, earl of Surrey to Hubert de Burgh, justiciar: the justiciar will be glad to hear that the countess of Eu, the earl's niece, and the justiciar's cousin, has arrived in England, and that they have spoken with the king. He has appointed them a day, the Octave of the Nativity of Our Lady, wheresoever he may be. Begs the justiciar to be present. |
