Nature of request: Copy of a fine between John de Grey, plaintiff, and Amory and Denford, deforciants whereby Grey acknowledges the castle of Ruthin and the cantref of Dyffryn Clwyd to be Amory and Denford's and they grant it back to him for his life, with a remainder to Roger de Grey. The fine was made by order of the king.
