Description:
Petitioners: Joan de Felton, widow of Thomas de Felton.
Name(s): de Felton, Joan
Addressees: King and council in the present parliament.
Nature of request: Felton requests a writ to the barons of the Exchequer commanding them that if they are able to find by charters and other evidences shown by Felton or by inquisition that she had a joint estate in several manors in Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk then they should do justice to her and deliver them to her as they have been seized into the king's hand for prests received by her late husband. She further requests that she be able to make an account for the prests received by her husband and not accounted for by him before the making of the jointure of Felton if she is able to show that she has a joint estate with her late husband in them.
