Nature of request: The petitioner asks the present parliament to have brought there the record and process of a certain plea of the petitioner (with all things concerning the same) to correct certain legal errors therein, stating that in the record and process and in the award of judgement of the plea in chancery before Michael de la Pole, between the petitioner and Manfeld, Paris, Haukyn and Horsman, upon a bill lately delivered to the king and council by the petitioner in the parliament at Westminster in year seven [1383-4], the bill was endorsed and ordered in chancery by the decision of parliament to have an open discussion there between the parties of the legal mistake plain to see by the aforesaid record.
