Note: The petition is dated speculatively to? c. 1422 on the basis of the guard note which makes reference to a Rot. Parl. reference (Vol. IV, p.125a-b). However, this reference is simply an unrelated reference to Henry Booth and William Pirton, and whilst the date is certainly c. 1422 when both Booth and Pirton were very active as lawyers, it is impossible to date these petitions precisely.
