Note: | Must date from soon after one of the forfeitures of Margaret's son, Roger Mortimer, and almost certainly to his first forfeiture, in 1322. Margaret was committed to a nunnery in 1325, and thus the petition probably dates from between those two dates. 'Complete Peerage', ix, p.283. The dating in Rees, 'Petitions Relating to Wales', dating it to c.1304, is incorrect. | ||||||||||||||
