Description: |
Cumberland to Field Marshal Doßow: he has written to the British minister at Berlin regarding the situation between his troops and the Prussians in Gueldres. It is normal for an army encamped by a river to secure the bridges to its left and right. This is why he sent Major Scott to destroy the bridge at Vlodrop, and he encloses a copy of his report [SP 87/24/73]. He requests Doßow to give orders for the destruction of the bridge. Dated at headquarters at 'Hellenrouck'. ff. 208, 209 |
