Cumberland to Newcastle: fifty siege guns have been landed at Liège for Maastricht. His intentions of camping along the Roer. The garrison of Maastrich is stronger than was at first thought, and he encloses a return [SP 87/24/66] for it. He encloses letters from Sandwich. Dated at headquarters at 'Hellinrouche'. PS. he encloses a letter from Albemarle with attached papers [SP 87/24/67-69]. Cumberland is concerned at his crossing of Prussian territory. ff. 192-195 |
