Major General Mordaunt is to have all regard for Hessian territory if the Russians pass through it. He has kept Sandwich informed and will continue to do so. He fears the enemy may have begun to invest Maastricht, and intends to gather his forces round Roermond. Bathiani is nearly incapacitated by gout. Dated at Breda.
