Cumberland to Sandwich: his remonstrances against Dutch inactivity have had no effect. The delay is endangering Maastricht. Troops are being kept at The Hague for the christening parade. The prince of Orange at a loss how to proceed. This weakness will encourage the French to make greater demands at Aix la Chapelle. The court of Vienna must be made aware of the situation.
