Newcastle to Cumberland, on Bentinck's memoire instructif and his reply to it. He encloses a letter for Sandwich at Aix for Cumberland to read and forward. With the consent of Bentinck, Count Kaunitz and M Chavanne, Sandwich is to sound St Severin on the possibility of a peace on the basis of mutual restitution.
