Description:
Petitioners: Abbot and convent of Bindon
Addressees: King and council
Nature of request: The abbot and convent show that they are totally ruined, and that their seal has been stolen by thieves, who have used it to forge blank charters of corrodies and pensions. They request that they are granted keepers with the power to defend them from such excesses.
Nature of endorsement: Let this bill be ordered into Chancery and the chancellor is to do what is to be done.
