Description:

Cumberland to Chesterfield, enclosing a copy of a letter from General Schwarzenburg [SP 87/23/74], a letter from Mr van Haren to Cumberland [sp 87/23/75] and from van Haren to Greffier Fagel [sp 87/23/76]. The enemy may have detached two or more brigades to Bergen op Zoom. He has forwarded the response to Saxe and encloses a copy of Ligonier's letter to him [SP 87/23/77]. Sandwich is at The Hague. He has done all he could to have Waldeck's corp moved into the lines. He encloses a letter from General Speed at Bergen op Zoom. Dated at headquarters at 'Rycholt'. ff. 157-159
