Memorial/certificate of George Hardinge on convicted prisoners, recommended to mercy on the conditions set against their names:

1. David Davies, convicted at the 'last' Great Sessions for Glamorganshire, for horse stealing, sentenced to death. Recommendation: 14 years transportation.

2. William Richard, convicted at the 'last' Great Sessions for Glamorganshire, for cattle stealing, sentenced to death. Recommendation: 14 years transportation.

3. William Collinson, convicted at the 'last' Great Sessions for Glamorganshire, for assault with intent to rob. Grounds for clemency: doubts to his guilt. Initial sentence: 7 years transportation. Recommendation: free pardon.

4. John Lewis and Philip Bevan, convicted at the 'last' Great Sessions for Breconshire, for sheep stealing. Initial sentence: death. Recommendation: Lewis, 14 years transportation; and Bevan, 7 years transportation.

5. Lewis John, convicted at the 'last' Great Sessions for Breconshire, for horse stealing. Initial Sentence: death, recommendation: 3 years imprisonment with hard labour.
